My name is Edline Rigueur i was born in Hati with my all family.
when i was younger, i used to speak french and creole with my mom and dad.
And i took english class in my county, i'll tell more detail about my identity and my language .
I was raised in Haiti , so my subculture derives from what i was around growing up .
My religion growing up was catholic, and i used to go to church every sunday.
I also went to catholic school when i was younger.I was finished all my classes overthere.
Because of this i developed a strong moral. I came to america to learning english
and get a better life here. Learning english here it not easy at all because it not the same
than when i was in Haiti .But it better to learn english and other languages.I prefer to read in english
than my first language because it would be better for me.That 's the reason i keep going to school at Laguardia College .The teachers are good and they teach good too.
So you are tri-lingual: French, Haitian Creole, and English! That's great!
